SILENT SOMATIC MOVEMENT
Dance how you feel.
Dance how you want to feel.
An hour to put your headphones on, get out of your head and dance.
When did you last properly dance?
Not because you were on a night out.
Not because you'd had a few drinks.
Not while half-laughing because somebody might be watching.
Just because it feels really good to move.
Silent Somatic Movement gives you an hour to do exactly that.
But this isn't a silent disco.
It's guided dance through emotion, feeling and the different ways you want to experience yourself.
Some of the music gives you somewhere to move what you've arrived carrying.
The tension.
The frustration.
The heaviness of the day.
And some invites you into something you might want more of.
Maybe joy.
Freedom.
Or what it feels like to stop shrinking.
Not by talking about it.
By dancing it.
Because there's a difference between thinking I want to take up more space... and putting a piece of music in your ears and letting your whole body experience what taking up space feels like.
I'll be there in your headphones, guiding you through the experience while you move completely in your own way.
No choreography.
No steps to learn.
No trying to keep up.
And no need to be "good" at dancing.
Just you, the music and other women disappearing into their own little worlds alongside you.
We'll eventually let the music and movement soften before ending in stillness.
