(Somatic Dynamic Breathwork)
75 - 90 minute experience
Old school rave meets Conscious Connected Breathwork.
If you love both, then this is for you.
Four sequences taking you from repetitive movement to old school rave music, into activating Conscious Connected Breathwork and then stillness.
Then the beat comes back.
And we go again.
Movement. Breathwork. Stillness. Repeat.
Not everyone finds stillness by sitting still.
When your nervous system is overwhelmed, your body rarely asks for stillness.
It asks to move.
You pace.
You clean.
You keep busy.
You can't settle.
Yet we're often told to sit still.
To meditate.
To relax.
For many people, that simply doesn't work.
Not because they're doing it wrong.
Because their nervous system needs movement before it can find stillness.
Your body doesn't need more instruction.
It needs permission.
A different way into yourself.
Somatic Dynamic Breathwork doesn't begin by asking you to lie down and breathe.
It begins in movement.
Dance.
Trance.
Activating Conscious Connected Breathwork.
We move through a series of sequences, each exploring a different feeling or emotion through movement, breath and stillness.
The music is deliberately rhythmic and repetitive, giving you space to find your own beat, let your movement become repetitive too, and lose yourself in the music.
It can get messy.
You might get sweaty.
Your hair might end up stuck to your face.
You might find yourself moving in ways you wouldn't have thought about when you walked in.
You don't need to think about your next move. You can let the repetition take over.
Then the music shifts.
We move into activating Conscious Connected Breathwork to breathe with and process what you've just been moving through, followed by stillness to let that sequence land.
Then we go again.
Different music.
Different feeling.
Different sequence.
You'll be guided to move, dance and breathe in different ways, exploring different feelings and emotions as the experience unfolds.
There’s no choreography.
No right way to move.
And no expectation of what your experience should look or feel like.
And during the activating breathwork, you may find yourself going deeper into the experience, moving into different states of consciousness or experiencing emotional release.
You follow the guidance while finding your own way within it.
You'll wear immersive headphones throughout because the music is part of the experience, not simply playing in the background.
The rhythm, repetition and changes in music help carry each sequence, while allowing you to tune into my guidance and your own experience.
Most people naturally close their eyes.
Not because they're told to.
Because they stop thinking about everyone else... ...and start noticing themselves.
Every invitation is exactly that.
An invitation.
New sequence.
The music changes.
The energy changes.
Your experience changes.
There are moments that feel powerful.
Moments that feel emotional.
And moments that feel surprisingly joyful.
The session closes in stillness, giving you space to reconnect with yourself and notice how your body feels.
Every experience is different.
No two sessions are ever the same.
Some people leave feeling lighter.
Some experience a powerful emotional release.
Some reconnect with a sense of joy they didn't realise they'd been missing.
Some simply leave feeling more like themselves.
There is no right experience.
Only your experience.
Is this for me?
Somatic Dynamic Breathwork may be for you if you:
Find it difficult to switch off.
Have never been able to settle into traditional meditation.
Spend most of your life in your head.
Feel like your body is carrying stress or tension that never really leaves.
Long to reconnect with yourself in a different way.
No previous experience is needed.
You don't need to know how to breathe.
You don't need to know how to move.
You simply need to come exactly as you are.
A note from me
I don't believe every nervous system finds calm in the same way.
Some people need movement before they can find stillness.
Some people need music before they can reconnect with themselves.
Some people simply need a space where there is no right or wrong way to be.
That's what I hope you'll find here.
A space to dance
To move.
To breathe.
To release.
To reconnect.
And perhaps, to rediscover a little more joy than you arrived with.
If you love to dance and you love Conscious Connected Breathwork, I think you're going to love Somatic Dynamic Breathwork.
